Covid-19 Information
Video Consultations Still Available
We are continuing to offer video or telephone consultations, whilst opening up for in-person visits too. Both types can be booked online using the BOOK AN APPOINTMENT button.
IMPORTANT Information
ACCESSING US AS WE ENTER SUPPRESSION LEVEL 2
As we enter Suppression Level 2 and open back up more fully for in-person visits, we are maintaining specific measures to ensure your safety and ours. This means you are now able to book in-person appointments online again, as well as video consultations, without prior triage.
YOUR ACTUAL VISIT
Except for 1-week baby checks and obstetric appointments, all appointments are still subject to the restriction to either just the patient or a paediatric patient and just one parent/carer.
For appointments without a suspected infection, you may come directly to clinic (see note about timing below).
For sick visits where infection may be present, please phone to announce arrival and the team will assist you.
All adults must wear masks when entering the clinic
Patients should come into clinic no more than 5 minutes before appointment time to reduce waiting.
Patients should stay in their designated area of the waiting room to help minimise surfaces touched.
Children should sit on parent’s lap or next to them and we advise bringing a small toy or book to keep children entertained.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
If you have visited us during Covid-19, you will know that we ask you to wait in the car and then call. That is no longer necessary unless you are attending with an illness that you think may have an infection component. If this is the case, please can you remain in your car and call Reception on (345) 745 7450 to inform them of your arrival.
All other persons can proceed directly to clinic, following the guidance under YOUR ACTUAL VISIT
Thank you!
Additional Information for Adults
Do you have flu-like symptoms?
As part of the national response to keeping the population safe, it is vital we separate patients with respiratory or other Covid-19 symptoms from those who are asymptomatic. If you have any of the following, we would ask that you call us, rather than booking online.
- Fever
- Cough
- Breathing Difficulties

Additional Information for Parents & Children
LIMITATIONS ON ACCOMPANYING PARENTS
At this time, we are continuing to restrict the number of parents or people that can accompany a child to the clinic to ONE parent or person. This is a precautionary measure that allows us to better manage enhanced triage and hygiene measures.
WEIGHING & MEASURING FOR BABIES
We are continuing to address these checks through a formal visit time, rather than walk-ins. When you would like to come to clinic for a weigh and measure, please call us first and speak to one of the paediatric nurses who will guide you accordingly. Thank you.
WELL-CHILD CHECKS
Well-child checks will now switch back to in-person appointments only.

Helping Children Scared of Coronavirus
"My Name is Coronavirus" Children find Coronavirus scary, in part because they see scared people all around them. We came across this booklet and hope it might help a few reduce their anxiety. Just click on the picture of the booklet to download it.
