Additional Information for Parents & Children
LIMITATIONS ON ACCOMPANYING PARENTS
At this time, we are restricting the number of parents or people that can accompany a child to the clinic to ONE parent or person. This is a precautionary measure that allows us to better manage enhanced triage and hygiene measures.
WEIGHING & MEASURING FOR BABIES
Under current guidance and preparations for the more extensive spread of Covid-19, working closely with the various emergency response bodies, we are adapting what patients we can see in the clinic at this time. If you had intended to come to clinic for a weigh and measure, please call us first and speak to one of the paediatric nurses who will guide you accordingly. Thank you.
Well-child checks are a vital component of ensuring continued health and picking up problems early. However, as a precaution, we are introducing separation between well-child checks and sick children visits, as well as moving some well-child checks onto video consultation. If you wish to arrange a well-child check, or have one booked in the near future and haven’t already been contacted by us, please contact the paediatric nurses and we will make arrangements according to the latest guidance and guidelines. Thank you.
