The Team at Integra Healthcare Ltd is delighted to welcome Family Doctor Rebecca Deasey, or Bec as she likes to be known. Bec joins Dr Francisco Martinez, strengthening our family medicine service and ensuring that a there’s always a GP in attendance.
Dr Deasey brings considerable experience from working in the North West of the UK, in some of the regions busiest practices. Additionally, helpfully but also slightly unusually, Dr Deasey also brings a very significant experience of working in urgent care centres in both UK (including as clinical lead GP) and Cayman Islands. This focus on acute illness, injury and sickness, in both adults and children nicely balances her passion for keeping people healthy through early identification of risk factors for common chronic illnesses.
You’ll find Family Doctor Rebecca Deasey working from our Grand Pavilion facility, a modern, clean, multi specialty clinic on West Bay Road, Seven Mile Beach, devoted to Women’s, Children’s & Family Medicine, including Dermatology, where she is one of our team of 9 highly respected doctors. Commenting on Beccy’s arrival, Owner, Director and GP himself, Dr Francisco Martinez said “It is really lovely to have a new colleague and especially one that shares my interest in both rapid diagnosis of acute illness and the better management of chronic illnesses like diabetes and heart problems”. He went on to explain “this means that for any patient choosing one of the Integra Team to be their Family Doctor, they are going to get very consistent care and advice if one of us is away, and of course we are both backed up by some of the Island’s leading specialist doctors, meaning a really comprehensive service.”
Co-owner and Director, Dr Sara Watkin added “Bec’s experience in sick children will also add further to our already very strong paediatric sick children’s services, meaning whether coming in a planned fashion for well-child checks with one of us or turning up with an urgent illness, we have even greater capacity to see children urgently. I am really looking forward to working with her.”
