Clinical quality hand-in-hand with effective service

Do good things well, would be the best description for our thinking around this. But being excellent at healthcare shouldn’t ever mean a lesser bar in customer service and so we hope you’ll be as impressed by the quality of service and attention that our support teams gives as you are with the healthcare delivered.

We try our best to extend this into areas like technological excellence too. So for us, online booking with live availability is not a nice-to-have, it’s a basic standard of convenience in what constitutes good service around arranging your life. You’ll find that kind of approach wherever we are able to weave it in.

That’s resulted in an organisation bound around the four domains of excellence, integrity, commitment and passion, all as aspired to by that team and embedded in every behaviour and process the company has. We’re delighted to share more about who we are.

Integrity

Honesty and transparency in ethical and financial conduct

This is deeply important to us. Obviously, as a basic standard, we respect your confidence in us by being completely trustworthy with both your health and your wealth, simultaneously. Confidentiality, probity and the utmost in ethical conduct is at the core of everything we do. However, we like to go further. After all, we did say ‘higher’ bar.

We want you to be confident in the advice you receive and any place we may send you, depending on what you need. That means we’ll always share any relationships and connections, for instance, as well as discuss alternatives, so you can make informed choices.

It also means we provide what’s needed, without adding what’s not necessary, and then charge transparently for the service, generally at Cayman standard fees (there are a few areas where we can’t but we’ll always tell you in advance). You’ll always know right where you stand and we’re always happy to explain anything.

Commitment

Accessibility, advocacy, advancement and added value

Healthcare is an ever-evolving field and so part of advancement to us is keeping our team up to date with knowledge, skills, and safety practices that will always serve in the best interest of those we care for and work with. If you visited us early in 2020, you’ll have noted just how early we put in place measures to protect you and our team, long before they were mandatory.

We work hard to create a welcoming environment, where our staff really do enjoy coming to work every day. We think of our team as family, and they are cherished accordingly. You’ll get a sense that the whole team views Integra like that. We are as devoted to our team, as we want them to be to you, and we aspire to Integra being part of them, not just the other way round.

In any outward-facing direction, it means things like being available at evenings or weekends when you really need us. Of course, most of your interaction will be in the working week, but life is full of surprises! So you can reach out to us any time, and you’ll find us genuinely responsive.

Advocacy, to us, is financial as well as clinical. Besides obviously being mindful with what you need, you can also rest-assured we ‘go to bat’ for you behind the scenes too. We always want to ensure that your insurance has been administered correctly and that you are saved from wrestling unnecessarily.

It’s actually tough to describe what our version of commitment really looks and feels like, and it’s something you’ll probably only fully understand when you experience it for yourself.

Passion

And finally, for us, passion is in our DNA. In the arena of passion, we subscribe to ‘Go big or go home’. We love what we do, and you’ll feel that in literally everything we do. It’s the highest bar we set.

That means you’ll always find us positive and supportive, never mood-hoovers. We notice its effects with the children especially. You’d think they couldn’t run out fast enough from ‘the doctors’ but in actual fact, we have far more tears over leaving us at all!

We are determined to be a beacon of healthcare excellence. It’s a million little things, from the care we deliver, to the work we do in education, to our pursuit of learning and improving.

So, in summary, this is just a small flavour of who we are. We don’t ask anyone to ‘believe’ it, because it’s not easy to explain. But, you’ll feel it, and experience it, when you interact with us. And, if by some chance you don’t, then we absolutely want to know about it too. Because for us, that’s just not normal, and we’re passionate about keeping it that way.
