Dr Purnima Gondane Sweetman is a UK-trained Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 30 years of international experience. Recognised as one of the foremost practitioners in her field in the UK and UAE, Dr Sweetman brings extensive expertise and a strong commitment to advancing women’s health.
Previously treating patients from around the world at Clemenceau Hospital in Dubai and speaking at international conferences, Dr Sweetman continues to share her knowledge and expertise in women’s health. She is now seeing patients at Integra Healthcare, where she remains dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care to women at every stage of life.

- High-Risk Pregnancy Management – Specialised care for pregnancy complications involving diabetes, thyroid disorders, epilepsy and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

- Breech Presentation Management – External cephalic version (ECV) to help turn babies into a head-down position before birth, where appropriate.

- General Gynaecology Consultations – Assessment and management of a wide range of women’s health concerns, with over 30 years of gynaecological experience.
- Menstrual and Endometrial Health – Procedures including endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopy and endometrial ablation.
- Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgery – Diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, including ovarian cyst removal.
- Uterine Prolapse and Pelvic Floor Care – Pessary fitting and vaginal prolapse repair without mesh.
- Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology – Specialist assessment and treatment for gynaecological conditions affecting children and adolescents, including ovarian cysts, pelvic pain and labial cysts.
