Dr Daniel Langer

Dr. Daniel Langer is a Consultant Paediatrician based in the Cayman Islands and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), United Kingdom. He has recently joined Integra Healthcare. Dr. Langer trained at internationally recognized institutions, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Imperial College (St Mary’s), University College London Hospital, and Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney.

For the last 7 years, Dr. Langer has been Clinical Lead of the Children’s Emergency Department at Epsom & St Helier Hospital in South West London, overseeing a service that cared for over 26,000 children annually. He specialises in paediatric urgent care and emergency paediatrics that includes minor injuries and newborn care, as well as expertise in children’s infections including common childhood infections, vaccinations, congenital and newborn infections, recurring fevers, international travel advice and tropical diseases. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Infectious Diseases from the University of Oxford and also a certified special interest in paediatric infectious diseases and immunology with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK. He is also a member of the European Society of Paediatric Infectious Diseases. He has led initiatives in sepsis management, diagnostic tools in the emergency department, antibiotic stewardship and infection control, areas that remain critically important given the rise in global outbreaks such as COVID-19, measles, whooping cough and dengue and rising global antibiotic resistance. He has led guidelines groups ensuring any care provided to his patients is the most up to date and evidence based.
